Final Tour Date - Annapolis Royal!!

Hi everyone!

It's our last performance of the year!!! We are so excited to share this wonderful show one final time at such a lovely theatre, in a totally beautiful town!! If you haven't been to Annapolis Royal before, you will love it!

Here's what you need to know for Saturday:

Location: Kings Theatre, 358 St George St., Annapolis Royal

To Bring:

• your full costume (don't forget shoes and tights!)
• hair/makeup stuff (see note below)
• knitting
• letter
• tuning forks
• snacks as needed (you will have time to go for supper, but feel free to bring something if you'd prefer!)
• gas money for your driver
• ALL YOUR 50/50 TICKET STUBS AND MONEY!!!
• ALL YOUR MUSIC (must be returned on Saturday!)

Schedule

4:00 pm  Soundcheck/full run of show + WITH PHOTOS

5:15 pm (at the latest)  Dinner Break

6:30 pm  Show Call

7:30 pm  Show (WotEL is first, then FatW, as per usual)

**Note re: Hair & Makeup** - We will be doing photos with Nick during our soundcheck run. This means you will have to be in full costume + hair + makeup. In order to be time efficient on Saturday, this means that you MUST either a) do your hair and makeup before you leave/in the car OR b) arrive at 3:30ish to do your hair and makeup in the dressing rooms while XYE is rehearsing onstage. Please make sure that you take care of this so that we can have #flawless photos

Blocking

Just a heads up to all of you that Shila will not be joining us for this performance as she is in Toronto. But we do have Leah back from her European adventures! So we are still at our 20 singer count. I have made a couple of minor blocking changes to accommodate this. The changes only affect three people and I have already communicated the details to them. We'll check in with this stuff on Saturday before we do the run! :)

Devon has kindly agreed to provide a camera for this weekend so that both shows can be filmed!!! Yay!! So just a heads up that will be happening on Saturday during the live performances. Thanks Devon!

After the Show

• I will give you instructions on Saturday about which car to place your suitcase in. Erin will help to coordinate this at the intermission.
• All costumes (skirts, blouses, aprons) MUST be returned. I will have blue bags for you in the green room to put your costumes in after the performance.
• All music MUST be returned. Erin will provide instructions on Saturday.

2nd Tour Date - Liverpool!

Hi everyone,

Tour show #2 is this Friday! Thank you for a wonderful performance on Sunday. It was moving and heartfelt and really blew away our audiences!! XYE loved having you in the audience to support them too!!!

Here are the details for this weekend's show:

Location: Astor Theatre, 59 Gorham St., Liverpool

To Bring:

• your full costume (including aprons!! and shoes and tights)
• hair/makeup stuff (we will have limited time in the theatre, so if you can get your hair done beforehand you will be much less rushed!)
• knitting
• letter
• tuning forks
• a bagged supper (the turnaround time is tight for this show - there won't be time to go out and get any food in Liverpool before the show, or on the road, so make sure you pack something substantial)
• gas money for your driver

This show is our tightest timeline in terms of soundcheck (we'll only have 30-40 mins). If you can do a bit of a warmup in the car on the way down, it will save us time once we get to the theatre :)

Note that the drive to Liverpool is about 1h45 - 2 hours. There will be lots of traffic on your way out of Halifax. It would be ideal if your car is able to leave at 4:15 pm to accommodate the traffic situation.

Keep on selling those 50/50 tickets!!! Deadline is June 28th.

Reminder that the workshops initially scheduled for this Saturday in Liverpool have been CANCELLED.

1st Tour Date - Musquodoboit!

Hi everyone!

Our first tour date is this weekend! The performance is at 3 pm at the Musquodoboit Valley Bicentennial Theatre in Middle Musquodoboit. Link for tickets is here: http://bicentennialtheatre.ca/

We will be bringing the suitcases separately. 

Reminder to keep on selling those 50/50 tickets!! The draw date for those has been changed to Saturday, June 28th, so you have up until then to sell!

Reminder that as per Christina's Facebook post, the workshops scheduled for Saturday, June 14 in Liverpool have been CANCELLED. The Google Calendar has been updated to reflect this.

Reminder of XYE's performance of Free as the Wind this Saturday evening! We are in need of six people to help out with Front of House - I posted on the Facebook group this evening, please comment there if you can help us out!
