Thanks for all your hard work this weekend. We made a lot of progress and it felt great to finally run each constellation to get a sense of the whole! We've still got lots of work to do though! :)
Sunday's Plan
Full company called 1:15-5:30 pm. Musically, Christina is going to take some time to work on Pseudo-Yoik Lite, From Ash You Rise, and Earth. Blocking-wise, Claire is going to take some time to work on I Himmelen, Pakkanen, Aglepta, and From Ash You Rise. We will then do runs of the Prologue, Lyra, and Gemini. If you have text in any of these three sections, we are expecting you to come with it entirely off book on Sunday.
Photographer
There will be a photographer from the Chronicle Herald coming to take a photo of us on Sunday at 2:30 pm. This means we will need you in full dress (new Xara tunics + boots). Please arrive at rehearsal in your outfits so we don't have to waste any time getting changed. You will have time to get changed back into regular clothing during the break in rehearsal. Please come with makeup done as well as hair pulled back and worn up (if too short to put up, then pinned back off the face).
Music Notes
Christina has decided to cut the last full measure of Earth. Please make sure you have that marked.
Christina has decided to base the soundscape for the Traveling Movement Formation on a section of Earth:
- mm 194-201, on a loop, whispered, not sung
- soprano 2s and 3s, please change your words to "tak-a-da"
- alto 2s, please change your words to "do-do-do-da"
- soprano 1s, please join the alto 2 line
- these changes apply to the travelling movement formation only and NOT to Earth when we sing it
